What does a Cadet actually do?
I shadow people in the industry to learn how to be a project manager.

What does a day in your life at work look like?
I start my day at 6:30am and work till around 5pm.

What's the best part of your job?
Meeting new people, overcoming daily challenges, seeing work on site in action.

What made you realise construction could be for you?
I had friends and relatives working in the field.

Tell us about a favourite project you're working on.
My favourite project I've worked on thus far was the IMAX theatre (Ribbon) project in darling habour.

Who has inspired you in your career?
My father has been working in the industry for 30 years and encouraged me to begin work experience at the same company he worked at.

What do your friends and family think about working in construction?
My friends are very impressed with my work and always ask if I can take them on site walks etc.
