What does a Practice Director actually do? Lead project teams, client and stakeholder engagement, meetings, design coordination with engineers and others, collaborate on design. Some extra internal business stuff like, working groups for diversity and inclusion, sector specific research and development.
What does a day in your life at work look like? Design workshop with the design team and client. Coordination meeting with consultants. A lot of time on my computer drafting or marking up drawings.
What's the best part of your job? Collaborating!
